The Castel filter houses are available in 4 “or 6” versions.
Type A is suitable for use in the liquid line and depending on the chosen model suitable for 1 to 4 filter drier cartridge.
Type C is suitable for use in the suction pipe and suitable for 1 suction filter cartridge.
Thanks to Castel’s wave-shaped suction filter cartridge, it has a larger filter surface than a smooth design, so you have enough of 1 cartridge.
These HFC / HFO Castel filter housings are suitable for all non-corrosive refrigerants.
The filter housings with steel connections supplied by us are equipped with calibrated connections so that a copper pipe can also be connected (with the exception of type 4421 / 33C).
The filter housings type A are intended as filter driers and are supplied with 1/4 “NPT bore.
The filter housings type C are intended as suction filter and are supplied with 1/4 “NPT bore + schräder valve.
